Clarksville Gas and Water Department - CGWClarksville, TN – On Friday, March 20th, 2020, the Clarksville Gas and Water Department has will close a section of Greenwood Avenue to through traffic at 3:30pm from Madison Street to Tyler Street for sewer line repair.

Greenwood Avenue will be inaccessible from Madison Street and northbound traffic on Greenwood Avenue will be redirected to Tyler Street during the work.

Clarksville Gas & Water DepartmentClarksville, TN – The six-inch sewer line replacement work that began today on Greenwood Avenue by Gas and Water construction workers will resume tomorrow morning at 8:00am. Both lanes of Greenwood Avenue will be closed to traffic from Tyler Street to Washington Street. Work scheduled for tomorrow on Greenwood Avenue from Clark Street to Stafford will be moved to Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm.

Water and Sewer Work scheduled for Greenwood Avenue

 

Wednesday, October 6th, 2010 and Thursday, October 7th, 2010

Clarksville Gas & Water DepartmentClarksville, TN – Gas and Water construction workers will close both lanes of Greenwood Avenue from Tyler Street to Washington Street and Clark Street from Greenwood Avenue to Emory beginning at 8:00am tomorrow morning until approximately 4:00pm.

The work crew will replace a six-inch sewer main pipe along Greenwood. Work will continue on Thursday, October 7th, from 8:00am to 4:00pm when the crew will close Greenwood Avenue from Clark Street to Stafford Street. Gas and Water construction workers are scheduled to repair an 8-inch sewer main line near the Greenwood Avenue and Madison Street intersection.
