Kaye Jones, President of the Citizens Police Academy Alumni and active volunteer in Clarksville has decided to run for City Council Ward 11.

As owner of House Doctors Handyman Service and Clarksville Police Supply, Kaye understands the importance of running a business that is a good community partner. At the same time she understand how important it is to have a vision of the future for her businesses as well as the importance of a return on her investment as a business owner.

As a city council representative for Ward 11 and the City of Clarksville, she will employ some of these same strategies. She will be a city council representative that will be a good community partner with the citizens of ward 11 and Clarksville. She will help develop a vision for the growth and the future of Clarksville that will continue to make us a city we can all be proud to call home. Her ability to develop a long term vision will also protect and ensure the future of our children in Clarksville.

As we develop the vision of the future for Clarksville, we must also look at what our return on investment will be for every project we consider. Sometimes the return on investment can be immediate and sometimes it can and will be part of a long term project where our children will see the return on investment.

Regardless of where it’s a project with an immediate return on investment or a project with a long term return on investment, Kaye’s job as your city council representative will be to communicate factual and timely information on the projects to the citizens of ward 11 as they develop through regular and ongoing town hall meeting and an open door policy where you can communicate directly with me in person, via email or by calling my City Council Ward 11 phone line I have set up.  It is time our Citizens of Ward 11 stopped hearing about things that affect them personally in the news media and they have the opportunity to hear the facts and voice their opinions before it goes up for a vote on the floor of city council chambers.

You can contact Kaye at 931-552-1732 or email her at kayejones4council@yahoo.com
