The Governors will run in “The South’s Largest Collegiate Cross Country Meet,” featuring 40 other schools. A rested Boniface Yator will look to continue his impressive senior campaign. In three meets this season his average finishing position is 15th, with his top performance being in a sixth-place finish at the Fleet Feet Sports/Earl Jacoby Memorial.

“We have made a lot of progress in the last two weeks,” said head coach Doug Molnar. “I have seen a lot of good things happen in practice. The kids have bought into getting a lot of mileage in.”

The team will get a good chance to see how they stack up with the rest of the Ohio Valley Conference as four other league members (Morehead State, SIU-Edwardsville, Southeast Missouri, and UT Martin) are scheduled to run in the meet. Other notable schools include: East Carolina, Kentucky, Marshall, Marquette, Purdue, and Vanderbilt.
