Langat leads Govs at LouisvilleAPSU Men’s Cross Country
Austin Peay finished 25th in the 34-team blue race as Langat and sophomore Geofrey Kosgei posted the team’s only top-50 finishes in the 328-man field. The Lady Govs were 23rd out of 34 teams in the blue race, the second of three races at the event. Lady Govs travel to Louisville seeking to close gapAPSU Women’s Cross Country
Freshman Xiamar Richards rebounded from a disappointing finish at Western Kentucky to lead the Lady Govs at the Memphis Twilight, cutting more than a minute off her five-kilometer time. Freshman Kendra Kirksey also made a big move, finishing as the Lady Govs No. 2 runner while also improving her five-kilometer time by more than a minute. Govs start season’s second half at LouisvilleAPSU Men’s Cross Country
Junior Enock Langat has led the Govs in each of the season’s first four races and slashed more than a minute off of his eight-kilometer time at last week’s Memphis Twilight where he finished 27th in the 264-man field.
