Clarksville, TN – The first in a series of free workshops offering advice and training for local entrepreneurs took place this week as First Advantage Bank and Austin Peay State University officially kicked off Building Businesses: A Small Business Workshop Series.
“Small businesses are such a critical part of our local economy. We must continue to embrace and support the strong entrepreneurial spirit here,” said Earl Bradley, First Advantage Bank CEO. “By offering these free events we are providing an educational resource for people who have the ideas and ambition for their own ventures. Investing in entrepreneurs’ success is an investment in the future of our community.”
Free training events will be held throughout the year on the APSU campus to help entrepreneurs establish and manage their businesses. Future workshop topics range from marketing and social media to basic and intermediate QuickBooks training.
