Clarksville Parks and Recreation’s Youth Basketball League registration has been extended

Clarksville Parks and RecreationClarksville, TN – Does your child want to play basketball this season? There’s still time to register your child for this season of Youth Basketball, but you’d better hurry! Registration for the Youth Basketball League has been extended to midnight, October 12th.

Practices will be held at local school gymnasiums beginning November 3rd and games will be held at the City’s three community centers beginning December 6th. Parents will be contacted by their coach prior to the start of practices to let them know where and when their child will practice.

2014 Youth Basketball League

The cost is $65.00 per player. Each player will receive a team jersey, water bottle and award.

Registrants must bring their birth certificate for age verification if they are registering for this program for the first time. The Clarksville Parks and Recreation Main Office is located at 102 Public Square and is open from 8:00am to 4:30pm,  Monday through Friday.

Please note that parking will be limited on Friday, October 11th, due to the Pirate Fest Chili Cook-off so be sure to come early or take advantage of our online registration. Registration will be open online 24 hours a day at recpro.cityofclarksville.com .

If you are interested in a leadership role on the court, Clarksville Parks and Recreation is seeking Youth League coaches. Clarksville Parks and Recreation will offer coaches’ training on October 14th and 16th at 6:00pm at Freedom Point at Liberty Park. All interested coaches should contact Athletic Coordinator, Albert Casillas, at the Clarksville Parks and Recreation Main Office.
