Nashville, TN – The Nashville Sounds Baseball Club returns home Saturday, August 19th, 2017 to begin the final homestand of the 2017 season – a 12-game, 13-day stretch at First Tennessee Park.
The longest homestand of the season welcomes the Iowa Cubs, the Triple-A affiliate of the Chicago Cubs, for four games from August 19th-22nd, 2017. After a team off day on Wednesday, August 23rd, the Sounds welcome the Round Rock Express, the Triple-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers, for four games from August 24th-27th, 2017.
The 2017 home slate concludes with a four-game series against the Omaha Storm Chasers, the Triple-A affiliate of the Kansas City Royals, from August 28th-31st.
Nashville, TN – The Nashville Sounds Baseball Club returns home Tuesday, July 25th to open an eight-game homestand at First Tennessee Park.
The Sounds welcome the Las Vegas 51s – the Triple-A affiliate of the New York Mets – for a four-game series from July 25th-28th.
The second half of the homestand features a four-game set against the Salt Lake Bees – the Triple-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim from July 29th-August 1st.
Nashville, TN – The Nashville Sounds Baseball Club returns home Friday, July 7th, 2017 to begin a three-game homestand with the American Southern Division rival Memphis Redbirds – the Triple-A affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals.
After the three-game series, the Sounds head into the three-day All-Star break, followed by a three-city, 12-game road trip and do not return to First Tennessee Park until Tuesday, July 25th, 2017.

The Sounds welcome the Round Rock Express – the Triple-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers – for a four-game series from June 26th-29th. The second half of the homestand features a four-game set against the Oklahoma City Dodgers – the Triple-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers – from June 30th-July 3rd.

Nashville, TN – The Nashville Sounds Baseball Club is back in action at First Tennessee Park on Tuesday, June 13th when they welcome the Iowa Cubs – the Triple-A affiliate of the Chicago Cubs – for a four-game series.
Following the Cubs series, the Sounds host the New Orleans Baby Cakes – the Triple-A affiliate of the Miami Marlins – for a four-day, five-game series from June 17th-20th.

Multi-Year Deal Includes Naming Rights On Left Field Picnic Deck
Nashville, TN – The Nashville Sounds Baseball Club is excited to announce the Middle Tennessee Hyundai Dealers Association as one the team’s three founding partners at brand-new First Tennessee Park, which opens next month.
The multi-year sponsorship – which involves seven area dealers – makes Hyundai the Sounds’ exclusive automotive partner within their category.
Other included elements are: naming rights sponsorship of the “Hyundai Deck” at First Tennessee Park, the outdoor seating area located in left field that provides group hospitality and a spectacular view of the playing field.
Nashville’s Fiers Logs Quality Start; Velez Records Three Hits
Memphis, TN – Despite a strong outing from pitcher Mike Fiers, the first-place Nashville Sounds (49-46) could not find their stride offensively and suffered a 1-0 loss to the Memphis Redbirds Thursday afternoon at AutoZone Park. The loss marks the fourth time Nashville has been shutout in 2014.
Fiers (6-5), who was recently named to the PCL All-Star team, pitched seven innings, allowing just one run on four hits while striking out eight to pick up his 10th quality start of the year. After this outing, he now boasts an ERA of 2.52, the fourth lowest in the PCL.

Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University men’s baskeball coach Dave Loos will be as one of six midstate Division I basketball coaches to speak at the Coaches vs. Caner Tipoff luncheon, schedule 11:00am-1:00pm, Thursday, November 1st, at the Curb Event Center located on the Belmont University campus.
Loos, Belmont’s Rick Byrd, Middle Tennessee’s Kermit Davis, Tennessee State coach Travis Williams and Vanderbilt coach Kevin Stallings will speak at the event. Radio personality Willy Daunic, of 102.5 The Game in Nashville, will serve as emcee of the event.
