Knoxville, TN – No. 10/10 Tennessee Lady Vols basketball team (12-1, 1-0 SEC) plays its second straight game against a team with a Tiger mascot, as Missouri (12-3, 1-0 SEC) comes to town for a Sunday matinee. Tip-off is slated for 1:02pm CT at Thompson-Boling Arena, with the game being broadcast by ESPN2 and the Lady Vol Radio Network.
On Thursday night, the Tennessee Lady Vols improved to 31-6 all-time and 6-1 during the Holly Warlick era in SEC openers, outlasting a talented Auburn team (12-2, 0-1 SEC) on the road, 78-69. The win was UT’s fourth straight after suffering its only loss on December 18th to No. 8/9 Stanford in Knoxville, 95-85.

Clarksville, TN – The No. 22 Austin Peay State University (APSU) football team begins its 2018 campaign at 2:30pm CT, Saturday, when it takes on FBS No. 3 Georgia in Athens.
The first meeting between the two programs will be televised nationally by ESPN, with Beth Mowins, Anthony Becht and Rocky Boiman on the call.
#6 Tennessee Lady Vols at #9/8 South Carolina

Knoxville, TN – No. 6/6 Tennessee (15-1, 3-1 SEC) continues its arduous three-game road swing with a stop in Columbia, SC, to take on No. 9/8 South Carolina (14-2, 3-1 SEC) in a contest slated to tip at 12:02pm CT on Sunday at Colonial Life Arena.
This marks the 55th meeting between these schools in women’s basketball, and the Lady Vols and Gamecocks will face off again on February 25th in UT’s Senior Day game in Knoxville.
The Lady Vols’ match-up with South Carolina is the second of four straight UT contests vs. teams ranked in the AP Top 20.

Knoxville, TN – No. 11/13 Tennessee (9-0) plays host to #2/4 Texas (7-0) at 2:00pm CT on Sunday in Thompson-Boling Arena, continuing one of the nation’s top rivalries in women’s college basketball.
These programs have met at least once (sometimes twice) every season since 1982. Holly Warlick and Karen Aston coach two of 14 Division I women’s teams that remain unbeaten in 2017-18 (as of Friday).
The Lady Vols remain undefeated after dismantling a Troy team that entered with a 4-1 record by an eye-popping score of 131-69 on Wednesday night in Knoxville.

Knoxville, TN – Tennessee will renew its cross-country women’s hoops rivalry with No. 10/10 Stanford at Thompson-Boling Arena on Sunday afternoon at 2:00pm CT.
The contest will be televised on SEC Network. It will also be available online through SECN+/WatchESPN. #7 Seed Tennessee Lady Vols (21-13) vs. #3 Seed Ohio State Buckeyes (26-7)

Knoxville, TN – The No. 7 seed Lady Vols (21-13) will take on No. 3 seed Ohio State (26-7) in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament in Sioux Falls, South Dakota on Friday at 8:30pm CT/ 9:30pm ET on ESPN2.
The winner will advance to Sunday’s Sioux Falls Regional final and will play the winner of the other semifinal game featuring No. 1 seed and #3/2-ranked South Carolina (33-1) vs. No. 4 seed and #14/15-ranked Syracuse (27-7).
Tennessee advanced to the semifinal round on Sunday night by upsetting No. 2 seed and #11/11 Arizona State, 75-64, in the second round on the Sun Devils’ home court in Tempe. UT had beaten No. 10 seed Green Bay in the first round last Friday, 59-53.

Under Holly Warlick, Tennessee is 60-8 at home, 31-16 in road games and 10-5 at neutral sites for a total of 101-29. The Big Orange women are 566-55 (.911) in all home games, beginning with the 1974-75 season. Tennessee is 413-31 (.930) all-time in Thompson-Boling Arena (1987-88 to present).
