Clarksville Police were called to a Clarksville residence, June 4th, 2019 after the foster parents of a six year old with a traumatic brain injury (TBI), noticed the child seemed to be crying more lately. Clarksville Police arrest DUI Driver with Nine Year Old in the Car
Clarksville Police Officer Trevor Knight located the suspect vehicle on the parking lot of a business at 600 Rossview Road. After contact with the driver, he noticed the driver had slurred speech, bloodshot eyes, and the smell of an alcoholic beverage.

Clarksville Police arrest couple on Alcohol Related Charges with 4 year Old in Truck
K-9 Officer Mefford spotted the vehicle and started to follow the vehicle. He noticed the vehicle failed to maintain its lane of travel and, at one point, completely went off the right shoulder of the road.

Clarksville Police negotiate out Barricaded Man after he fires one round
While on scene, the officers were able to determine the other party involved in the domestic was Hasaan Slaughter. Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office reports Death of Inmate Tawnya Smith
Tawnya Smith, 31, was booked into the detention center on Monday at 12:15am on two counts of child abuse and neglect, simple possession, and unlawful drug paraphernalia. Jail Deputies discovered Smith unresponsive in her cell at 11:10am during routine hourly security checks.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputies arrest Two in hotel Meth Lab
Lisa Lejeune, 34, who gave a Haywood Court address, was arrested on charges in outstanding warrants as well as charges related to today’s lab. Her bond was set at $85,000. Timothy Holliday, 27, was also arrested and charged with violation of probation, drug charges and on out-of-state warrants. His bond was set at $260,000.

Clarksville Police reports Robbery and Shots Fired on Holiday Drive
Initially, some streets around the area were shut down, and K-9 units were called to assist in the search of suspects. Vonzel Williams, Keshun Hester, and Darcell Wright were taken to District 3 CI for interviews conducted by Detective Howard Gillespie.

Clarksville Child Abuse Case Settled; Darryl Mayo charged with Aggravated Child Abuse
Detective Chestnut responded to a Department of Children Services (DCS) referral in reference to two abused children living in a home on King Road; one child was said to have a broken collar bone and another a black eye. These injuries were said to have been caused by the mother’s live-in boyfriend.
