Clarksville, TN – On Saturday, June 8th, 2019 Clarksville Police Officers were made aware by a witness on the interstate that a man driving on I-24 was pointing a gun at other drivers and left the interstate at Exit 8 around 12:30pm.
There was a description of a suspect, handgun, and vehicle disseminated. Officers located the vehicle and pulled it over on Warfield Boulevard.
Clarksville, TN – Lori Johnson, age 62, has been charged by Clarksville Police with Child Abuse and Neglect.
Clarksville Police were called to a Clarksville residence, June 4th, 2019 after the foster parents of a six year old with a traumatic brain injury (TBI), noticed the child seemed to be crying more lately. The child sustained the TBI during a motor vehicle crash when she was two years old and is non-ambulatory and non-verbal.
Clarksville, TN – On July 5th, 2017 around 2:24am, the 911 center received a call about a possible road rage situation in which a driver was speeding and almost hit another vehicle in the area of I-24 and Rossview Road.
Clarksville Police Officer Trevor Knight located the suspect vehicle on the parking lot of a business at 600 Rossview Road. After contact with the driver, he noticed the driver had slurred speech, bloodshot eyes, and the smell of an alcoholic beverage.
Clarksville, TN – On Sunday, July 2nd, 2017, around 10:03pm, Clarksville Police responded to a call in the area of Cumberland Drive and Liberty Park about a man driving a pickup with a pontoon boat attached who was possibly intoxicated. Also, the pickup was supposed to have a woman and child inside as passengers.
K-9 Officer Mefford spotted the vehicle and started to follow the vehicle. He noticed the vehicle failed to maintain its lane of travel and, at one point, completely went off the right shoulder of the road.
Clarksville, TN – On Saturday morning, July 1st, 2017 around 4:33am, Clarksville Police Officers were called to a domestic related situation at an apartment in the 2600 block of Union Hall Road. The female involved in the domestic had already left the residence.
While on scene, the officers were able to determine the other party involved in the domestic was Hasaan Slaughter. Hasaan Slaughter had two active warrants on file–Domestic Assault and a Petition to Revoke.
Clarksville, TN – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) is doing Warrant Wednesday to help reduce the over 6000 active warrants on file.
Every Wednesday three wanted individuals will be spotlighted on the Sheriff’s Office Facebook page. They will be chosen based on felonies committed, number of warrants on file, or if they are considered dangerous.
This week’s Warrant Wednesday focuses on Christin Michelle Chaivre, Joseph Hnosko, and Tyriq Saafir.
Clarksville, TN – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an inmate death that occurred Monday morning.
Tawnya Smith, 31, was booked into the detention center on Monday at 12:15am on two counts of child abuse and neglect, simple possession, and unlawful drug paraphernalia.
Jail Deputies discovered Smith unresponsive in her cell at 11:10am during routine hourly security checks.
Montgomery County, TN – Two people have been arrested by Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputies in a methamphetamine lab found in a Westfield Court hotel earlier today.
Lisa Lejeune, 34, who gave a Haywood Court address, was arrested on charges in outstanding warrants as well as charges related to today’s lab. Her bond was set at $85,000. Timothy Holliday, 27, was also arrested and charged with violation of probation, drug charges and on out-of-state warrants. His bond was set at $260,000.
Clarksville, TN – On Sunday, March 16th, 2014 at approximately 6:03pm, the Clarksville Police Department responded to a robbery and shots fired call near the Microtel and La Quinta hotels on Holiday Drive.
Initially, some streets around the area were shut down, and K-9 units were called to assist in the search of suspects. Vonzel Williams, Keshun Hester, and Darcell Wright were taken to District 3 CI for interviews conducted by Detective Howard Gillespie.
Clarksville, TN – On April 22nd, 2013 at 3:00pm, Clarksville Police Detective DeMone A. Chestnut responded to a Child Abuse/Neglect at King Road.
Detective Chestnut responded to a Department of Children Services (DCS) referral in reference to two abused children living in a home on King Road; one child was said to have a broken collar bone and another a black eye. These injuries were said to have been caused by the mother’s live-in boyfriend.
