Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department welcomed eight new Police Officers Thursday, March 16th, 2017.

The new officers and their families, along with CPD Chief Al Ansley, Clarksville Mayor Kim McMillan’s staff, members of the Clarksville Police Academy Alumni (CPAA) and other City Officials, gathered at the City Hall Conference Room while they were sworn in by Mayor Kim McMillan.

Clarksville Police Department hold Retirement Ceremony for Officer Jeffrey Stanfill

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Today, September 9th, 2016, the Clarksville Police Department hosted a retirement ceremony for Officer Jeffrey Stanfill. After Clarksville Mayor Kim McMillan’s opening comments, Chief Al Ansley presented Officer Stanfill with a Certificate of Retirement and his service weapon.

Officer Stanfill served faithfully and honorably for 33 years at the CPD. Along with his natural ability to lead, his Police experience made him a valuable asset to his Supervisors, newer Officers he led, the CPD and the City of Clarksville.

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Today, Thursday, April 28th, 2016, the Clarksville Police Department hosted a promotion ceremony. Chief Al Ansley presented Detective Gregory Rosencrants with a Promotion Certificate to the rank of Sergeant.

In attendance with Sergeant Rosencrants were his wife Veronica, his mother Karen Torrey from Michigan, his three daughters—Samantha, Cassandra, and Ashley; and his son Carter.

Clarksville Police Officers deliver Gifts to Family in Need

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Thursday afternoon, December 17th, 2015, Clarksville Police Officers got together with Brandy Marik, Barkers Mill Elementary School’s School Counselor, to take Christmas gifts and groceries to a Clarksville family in need, the Hernandez family.

The same agencies responsible for the Shop with a Cop event were responsible for helping the Hernandez family. Those agencies are the Fraternal Order of Police, the Police Union, the Clarksville Police Academy Alumni (CPAA), APSU, Clarksville-Montgomery County School System (CMCSS), and the CPD. «Read the rest of this article»

Clarksville Police Union, Fraternal Order of Police hold annual “Shop with a Cop”

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Saturday, December 12th, 2015, at 9:00am, the Clarksville Police Union and Fraternal Order of Police’s “Shop with a Cop” was a great success. Officers took over 101 local children, from all over Montgomery County, shopping.

There were over 30 CPD Officers, CPD employees, Police Union volunteers, FOP volunteers, and Clarksville Police Academy Alumni (CPAA) volunteers. Each child spent $100.00 on clothes and toys.
