Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Police report that on Wednesday, October 10th, 2018 around 8:00pm, a 53 year old man driving a Ford F350 pickup was stopped for a redlight in the southbound lane of US 79N near Cracker Barrel Drive when, for an unknown reason, a 65 year old woman driving a Chevy Cavalier, traveling southbound, collided into the rear-end of the stationary Ford F350.
Shot Fired at Bystander
Clarksville, TN – On Tuesday, July 25th, 2017 around 1:30am, Clarksville Police report three men armed with handguns entered the Exxon on Cracker Barrel Drive.
One of the men, who had two tear drop tattoos near his right eye, demanded and received money from the clerk.
In the meantime, the other two men were stealing seven cartons of NEWPORT cigarettes and other items from the store.
Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) reports that in Montgomery County the Widening/Extension of SR 13/Oakland Drive near Cracker Barrel Drive to International Boulevard & Solar Way for Hankook Tire (L.M. 26.82-28.16) has begun and will continue through Monday, August 7th, 2017.

Clarksville, TN – Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) contract crews closed a portion of Oakland Road in Clarksville on Monday, June 19th, 2017.
Oakland Road will be closed from Meriwether Road to SR 13 (Guthrie Highway) in order to re-align the roadway. Residents along the route will be provided access, along with emergency vehicles. The roadway is scheduled to re-open on August 7th, 2017.
Clarksville Police Department releases Alcoholic Beverage Commission Operation results from April 5th, 2017
Clarksville, TN – On April 5th, 2017, ABC (Alcohol Beverage Control) Agents with the Clarksville Police Department’s Special Operations Unit conducted compliance checks on 13 business targeting sales of alcohol to underage persons.
All 13 business were found to be in compliance and no alcohol was sold to underage persons.
It is a rarity that all business are found in compliance and the Clarksville Police Department would like to thank all the businesses for properly training their staff and complying with the law.
Clarksville, TN – In the early morning hours this morning September 2nd, 2015, Clarksville Police Officers responded to two Armed Robberies.
The first robbery occurred at 12:31am at the Exxon Hi Road near Exit 4 just north of I-24 on Cracker Barrel Drive. The second robbery occurred at 1:44am at the Exxon Hi Road near Exit 11 just south of I-24 on Hwy 76.
Clarksville Police Department releases Alcoholic Beverage Commission Operation results from April 3rd, 2015
Clarksville, TN – On April 3rd, 2015, the Alcohol Beverage Control Agents (ABC) of the Clarksville Police Department’s Special Operations Unit conducted operations targeting sales of alcohol to underage persons.
Compliance Checks were done at 20 stores with 19 stores found to be in compliance and 1 store cited for sales of alcohol to underage persons. These types of operations are ongoing in an effort to stop the sales of alcohol to underage persons.
