Knoxville, TN – The Tennessee Football team will look to get back in the win column this weekend as the Volunteers welcome South Carolina to Neyland Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The Big Orange enter this weekend’s contest confident after going toe-to-toe with No. 1 Alabama last Saturday in Tuscaloosa, AL. The Gamecocks have also played well in recent weeks, upsetting then No. 3 Georgia in Athens two weeks ago before losing a tightly contested game at home to No. 9 Florida last week.
Columbia, SC – Tennessee Vols Football fell to South Carolina on Saturday night as the Gamecocks rallied to take a late, 27-24 lead at Williams-Brice Stadium.
With the loss, Tennessee holds a 3-5 (1-4 SEC) record while the Gamecocks move to 4-3 (3-3 SEC).
The Vols were led offensively by redshirt sophomore quarterback Jarrett Guarantano who completed 27-of-39 passes for 207 yards and two touchdowns. Sophomore running back Tim Jordan led the ground attack with 12 attempts for 62 yards while junior wide receiver Marquez Callaway had nine receptions for 86 yards to lead the receiving corps.

The Volunteers (5-3, 2-3 SEC) committed three costly turnovers while absorbing their third straight loss.
