Clarksville Police Department’s annual Run for C.O.P.S. 5K Run/Walk biggest one yet

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – The Run for C.O.P.S. 5K Run/Walk, Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.), was held at the Clarksville Police Department Headquarters on Saturday, May 11th, 2019. It was a resounding success.

There were over 268 participants which is the largest number to date. The weather was perfect and the energy of the crowd was readily evident.

Clarksville Police request Public Help Identifying Rite-Aid Robbery Suspect

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police are asking for assistance identifying a male suspect who robbed a Rite-Aid on Madison Street on October 28th, 2017, around 10:43am.

The robber walked in and threatened to kill the pharmacist if he was not given drugs.

After receiving drugs, the man left the store and was last seen walking toward a Krogers in the vicinity of the Rite-Aid.

Clarksville Police are trying to identify Vehicle Burglary Suspects

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Detective Channing Bartel with the Clarksville Police Department is trying to identify two suspects involved in a Vehicle Burglary and is requesting public assistance.

On November 24th, 2016, the victim, who lives off Exit 4, reported that her car had been broken into the night before. The suspects took her credit card and tried to use it at an ATM but failed (ATM was located at Planters Bank 76 Connector).

Tennessee Titans Caravan rolled into Clarksville Tuesday

 

Tennessee TitansClarksville, TN – The Tennessee Titans rolled into Clarksville on Tuesday with linebacker Akeem Ayers; defensive tackle Jurrell Casey; and Mike Keith, the voice of the Tennessee Titans on the second day of the 2013 Titans Caravan. The Caravan stopped in Clarksville at the Lowe’s Drive Krogers.

The second day of the Caravan began with private stops in White Bluff at the White Bluff Elementary School, in Waverly, TN at the Waverly Junior High School, in Camden at the Briarwood Elementary School. Two public stops were also on the agenda for the second day of the Caravan at Clifty Farm Country Ham in Paris, TN and finishing up at the Kroger store stop in Clarksville.

Tennessee Titans Carvan to make stop in Clarksville Tuesday, April 30th

 

Tennessee TitansNashville, TN – The Tennessee Titans have announced that Akeem Ayers and Jurrell Casey are scheduled to appear at 5:30pm Tuesday, April 30th at the Kroger store located at 2100 Lowes Drive.

The Academy Sports + Outdoors Titans Caravan is a regional series of school visits and free, public autograph signings from April 29th through May 10th.

Titans Quarterback Jake Locker launches team’s tour through the Mid-South on April 29th

Tennessee TitansNashville, TN – The Tennessee Titans have announced the complete itinerary for the Academy Sports + Outdoors Titans Caravan, a regional series of school visits and free, public autograph signings. The Caravan will make 44 total stops in Tennessee, Kentucky and Alabama from April 29th through May 10th.

The Titans Caravan will be in Clarksville, TN at the Krogers, located at 2100 Lowes Drive, on Tuesday April 30th starting at 5:30pm.

Shoplifter is caught and release, then later, Clarksville Police catch him Shoplifting again

 

After a shoplifter is caught, cited, and released, he makes a beeline to another store to shoplift and is caught again.

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – On September 25th, 2012, around 8:15am, Clarksville Police Officers were called to Kroger’s on Madison Street about a man who had taken several cases of beer and meat and left the store without paying.

The man, David Felts, was located by officers at the corner of Golf Club Lane and Crossland Avenue. He was pushing a Kroger’s shopping cart down the street loaded with the stolen beer and pork ribs.

Tennessee Titans fans and players enjoy time at Titans Caravan’s stop at Kroger on Madison Street Monday

 

2012 Tennessee Titans CaravanClarksville, TN – Called the largest crowd ever by Tennessee Titans play-by-play voice Mike Keith, the Titans Caravan rolled into Clarksville and were greeted by throngs of fans at the Kroger at 1489 Madison Street, Monday night.

Quarterback Matt Hasselbeck, left tackle Michael Roos, corner back Jason McCourty, Titans mascot T-Rac and Keith — on the first day and sixth stop of the Caravan — signed autographs and took pictures with eager Titans fans for nearly two hours after first conducting interviews with the local media, including the Clarksville Sports Network and Clarksville Online.

The signature exhibit at this year’s show is Diana, The People’s Princess, an exhibition of the life of a royal icon.
