UT Lady VolsKnoxville, TN – The Tennessee Lady Vols (17-11, 6-9 SEC) travels to Oxford, MS, this weekend to close out the regular season vs. Ole Miss (9-20, 1-13 SEC) on Sunday afternoon. Tip-off is slated for 2:02pm CT (3:02pm ET) at The Pavilion at Ole Miss in a contest that is being streamed on SECN+.
 
After winning five of six, UT has hit a bump in the road and has dropped three straight, including back-to-back home games vs. #13/13 South Carolina and Vanderbilt. The Commodores spoiled the Lady Vols’ Senior Night on Thursday, overcoming a 10-point deficit to get their first-ever win in Knoxville, 76-69.

#10 Tennessee Lady Vols beat Ole Miss, 75-66

UT Lady VolsKnoxville, TN – Freshman forward Rennia Davis tied her career high with 18 points and senior forward Jaime Nared recorded her eighth double-double of the season to lead the 10th-ranked Tennessee women’s basketball team to a 75-66 victory over Ole Miss on Thursday at Thompson-Boling Arena.
 
The Lady Vols ended a two-game skid by holding the Rebels to just 37 percent shooting and finishing the game with a 20-4 edge in fastbreak points.
 
Nared’s 15-point, 10-board double-double was the 17th of her career, while Davis matched her season-best scoring output from the Alabama State game on December 3rd.

The match-up will be the Lady Vols’ first against an unranked foe since Vanderbilt played on The Summitt on January 7th.

Tennessee Lady Vols come up short at Ole Miss Rebels

UT Lady VolsOxford, MS – Despite overcoming a 12-point deficit in the first half and leading by as many as 13, Tennessee could never close it out in a 67-62 loss to the Rebels at The Pavilion at Ole Miss on Thursday night.

Redshirt junior Diamond DeShields recorded her third double-double of the season with 13 points and 12 rebounds, which tied a career high. Junior Jaime Nared posted another dominant performance, scoring a career-high 23 points to go along with seven rebounds.

Ole Miss (13-4, 2-2 SEC) snapped a two-game losing skid with the win over Tennessee (10-6, 2-2 SEC).
