Restore Performance MassageClarksville, TN – Russ Shemberger, a licensed massage therapist at Restore Performance Massage in Clarksville, has been selected for the USA Triathlon (USAT) coaching clinic scheduled for April 26th-28th in Nashville, TN.

The clinic will prepare him to coach experienced triathletes or coach someone new to the multisport lifestyle.

Selection to the USA Triathlon clinic was competitive; some applications were not accepted, according to the email from USAT.

Russ Shemberger places in top 10 at inaugural Bowling Green Half-Marathon

 

Restore Performance MassageClarksville, TN – Russ Shemberger, a licensed massage therapist at Restore Performance Massage on Madison Street in Clarksville, finished in the top 10 of all finishers in the inaugural Bowling Green Half-Marathon on Sunday, November 4th in Bowling Green, KY.

Shemberger finished the hilly 13.1-mile course in 1:34:10, his personal best at this distance, and placed second in his age group (45-49). The course route included downtown Bowling Green and the Western Kentucky University campus.

Austin Peay’s Phi Kappa Phi chapter collecting books for Candy for the Mind

 

Austin Peay State UniversityClarksville, TN – As you shop for groceries, Halloween goodies and other items, remember to pick up a new book or two to donate to the annual Candy for the Mind project at Austin Peay State University.

For the 10th consecutive Halloween, the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi (PKP) at APSU is collecting new and gently used children’s books for its Candy for the Mind project. Members of the campus and local community are invited to support this effort through donations of books or funds for the purchase of books.
