Clarksville, TN – At around 7:38am today, July 26th, 2019, Clarksville Police report a gray Kia Sorrento driven by a 76 year old male was making a left from Trenton Road to the lot of the Marathon near the intersection of Needmore Road and Trenton Road.
The Sorrento turned into the path of a Harley motorcycle ridden by a 22 year old male that was traveling south bound on Trenton Road.
Nashville, TN – Tennessee Highway Patrol is asking the public’s assistance in Clarksville-Montgomery County with the investigation of a fatal motorcycle crash.
The crash occurred Tuesday, July 2nd, 2019 on I-24 eastbound around 10:00pm at the 1.6 mile marker, in Montgomery County, Tennessee.

Clarksville, TN – In Clarksville for 2018, the Clarksville Police Department reports that there were 106 motorcycle crashes, with 76 injured, four fatalities, and 39 property damage crashes.
In 2019, as of May 8th, CPD had 29 motorcycle crashes, with 19 injured, 0 fatalities, and 10 property damage crashes. Even though there have been no fatalities for 2019, two of the crashes resulted in the riders having life altering injuries and are still hospitalized.
Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department (CPD) will be partnering with the Tennessee Highway Safety Office to promote motorcycle safety during the month of May, which is nationally recognized as Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month.
Agencies participate by providing information and increasing awareness in their communities about the importance of sharing the road and looking twice for motorcyclists.
Clarksville Police Department (CPD)
Clarksville, TN – On Thursday, April 11th, 2019, around 8:30pm, Clarksville Police report a Pontiac G8, driven by a 30 year old man and Suzuki GSX motorcycle ridden by a 26 year old man were both traveling east on Tiny Town Road and, for a yet to be determined reason, came in contact with each other and a fire ensued.
The motorcycle rider was taken to Nashville by Lifeflight and is in stable condition, but is still being treated for his injuries. The driver of the Pontiac was uninjured.

Clarksville, TN – On Friday, September 14th, 2018, four officers were recognized for their actions during emergency situations and were each presented with Lifesaver Awards. The Lifesaver award is given to officers whose direct actions saves or extends the life of another person.
The officers receiving the awards were Officer Adam Post, Officer William Becker, Officer Michael Ciupka and Officer Morgan Baker.
Clarksville, TN – On Sunday morning, May 20th, 2018, Clarksville Police were called to a motorcycle versus car fatality crash around 1:30am.
A Ford Focus driven by Benjamin Wilson, age 21, turned left turn Riverside Drive in front of an oncoming motorcycle ridden by Diamond Dillard, age 25 which was traveling south on Providence Boulevard.
The motorcycle collided with the Ford Focus.
Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Police worked a motorcycle versus car fatality crash this morning, May 20th, 2018 around 1:30am.
A Ford Focus driven by 21 year old man was on North Second Street attempting to make a left turn onto Riverside Drive and did not yield to an oncoming motorcycle ridden by a 25 year old man which was traveling south on Providence Boulevard.
Clarksville, TN – On Tuesday, May 8th, 2018, Clarksville Police responded to a vehicle accident on 101st Airborne Division Parkway and Pea Ridge.
A 2015 Nissan Pathfinder turned in front of a Harley Davidson motorcycle and the motorcycle collided with the Nissan and caught fire.
The motorcycle driver died at the scene.
Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Police responded to a motorcycle versus SUV fatality crash Tuesday, May 8th around 9:00pm at 101st Airborne Division Parkway and Pea Ridge.
A 2008 Harley Davidson motorcycle ridden by a 25 year old man was traveling west on the 101st Airborne Division Parkway when a 2015 Nissan Pathfinder driven by a 36 year old man was traveling east on the 101st Airborne Parkway and made a left turn toward Pea Ridge Road.
