Fundraiser to repair Extensive Vandalism Damage to Clarksville’s Stokes Field

 

Tennessee State Representative - District 67Nashville, TN – Vandals have caused extensive damage to Stokes Field (Northwest Little League) in Clarksville, TN over the past few weeks. The Clarksville Police Department reports holes cut in the floor, equipment stolen or damaged, and candy missing.

The Northwest Little League is struggling to make repairs and our help is needed.

Clarksville City Council Lady Deanna McLaughlin and I need your help in raising $10,000 to pay for repairs, safety and security equipment. Please be generous.

Clarksville Police requests assistance with Multiple Burglaries and Vandalisms at Stokes Field

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Between June 18th, 2015 and the early morning hours this morning June 39th, 2015 the Clarksville Police Department has responded to multiple burglaries and vandalisms at Stokes Field, where the Northwest Little League games are played.

For the Burglary that occurred on June 21st, 2015, the suspects took a felony amount of food items. For the Vandalism early this morning, there was a felony amount of damage to the concession stand and shed.

Montgomery Central Little League’s Diamond Divas rally in the 5th for 11-7 win over Northwest’s Lil Diamonds

 

Montgomery Central Little LeagueCunningham, TN – The Northwest Little League Lil Diamonds visited the Montgomery Central Little League’s Diamond Divas Saturday afternoon, June 7th. The game started at 1:00pm on the MCLL Peewee Field.

In the top of the 1st, Lil Diamonds’ Breanna Moss gets on with a base hit to left center and advances to second on a single by Raquel Cervera. Jada Brooks drives the ball into right center, scoring Moss. Cervera was thrown out at second on the play. The Divas got the next batter out to end the inning.

Northwest Big League State Champion run ends at Regional by eventual World Series winner

 

Northwest Little LeagueFt. Lauderdale, FL – The Northwest Little League Big League Division, (ages 15-18) baseball team, won the Tennessee State Big League Championship and advanced to the Southeast Regionals.

Northwest played in Pool B at the regional and advanced to the semi-finals after losing its pool play opening game to the Regional Host team — Florida District 21 — by a 3-2 margin and then rebounding to defeating Bristol, VA, 5–2.

Northwest Senior (15-16) baseball team are Tennessee State Little League Champions

 

Northwest Little League hosted the 2012 Senior (15-16) State Tournament

Little League BaseballClarksville, TN – The Northwest Senior(15-16) boys baseball team won the Tennessee State Baseball Championship by going 3-0 at Stokes field last week.

They defeated Smith County 6- 2 on Sunday, July 22nd behind  the strong pitching from winning pitcher Adam Caver, Jose Poindexter, Dakota Doron, and Tyler Boles,(who recorded the save). They gave up only 3 hits while striking out 14.

Northwest was able to take advantage of 5 Smith County errors to advance in the winners bracket.
