The Predators were coming off of a tough loss last night in Chicago and blew an early two goal lead to hang on for the win. Columbus fought a valiant fight, considering that half of their team is on injured reserve. Nashville Predators defeat the New Jersey Devils 6-5
The win gives Nashville the much needed two points as they try to claw their way into the playoff picture, as they now find themselves just two points out of the hunt. It was a game that produced a lot of scoring on both ends of the ice. Nashville Predators get big road win over the Washington Capitals 5-4
Tonight was the first of back to back games, with a date in New Jersey tomorrow night against the Devils. Nashville Predators fall to the Toronto Maple Leafs 5-2
The Leafs took the game 5-2. The Predators, who are in desperate need of some wins, came out with some reshuffled lines, but fell behind early on William Nylander’s goal at 4:13 of the opening period to take the early 1-0 lead. Nashville Predators defeat the Buffalo Sabres 2-1
Nashville goalie Pekka Rinne was absolutely superb in net, keeping his team in the game, until Craig Smith could score the game winner in the third period. This was a much needed victory for Nashville who desperately needs points to have any chance of making the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Nashville Predators defeat the L.A. Kings 4-1
With a depleted line-up, the injury plagued Predators played a team game and stopped their three game losing streak. This is the first of a back-to-back series in Southern California with the Anaheim Ducks on tap this afternoon at 2:00pm. Nashville Predators end road trip with win over the Boston Bruins 4-3
Pekka Rinne started in goal for the Predators while the Bruins sent Jaroslav Halak to the net ahead of Tuukka Rask. Nashville Predators’ comeback falls short against the Ottawa Senators 5-4
Nashville has managed to pick up 5 points on this four game road trip so far and have a date with the Boston Bruins on Saturday night. The Predators got off to a hot start in the first period with 17 shots on goal and a 1-0 lead at the end of the period. Nashville Predators dominate the New York Islanders 8-3
Nashville played two nights of convincing hockey with wins over the Rangers, and tonight, the Islanders. Scoring was NOT the issue tonight. Craig Smith got things started when he gave the Predators the 1-0 lead at 4:39 of the opening frame on a wrist shot that beat starting goaltender Thomas Greiss.
