Tennessee State GovernmentNashville, TN – Tennessee Governor Bill Lee announced a partnership with the Tennessee Association of Chiefs of Police, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, the Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security, the Tennessee Highway Patrol, The Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance, Tennessee Sheriffs’ Association and the Peace Officer Standards & Training Commission to enhance policies, improve information sharing and increase officer training.

Clarksville Police Department has 12 Cadets Take Oath of Office

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Mayor Joe Pitts administered the oath of office to twelve new Clarksville Police Department cadets at the City’s Council Chambers on December 2nd, 2019.

The room was filled with family, friends, and well-wishers. The new officers will be trained in-house at the Police Department until they begin the Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy on January 5th, 2020 and graduate March 27th, 2020.

Clarksville Police Department have Twelve Officers Graduate from Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Friday, September 27th, 2019, the Clarksville Police Department (CPD) had twelve officers graduate from twelve weeks of training at the Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy.

CPD wants to congratulate the twelve officers for successfully graduating the academy. They will now embark on a 14 week field training program with veteran Field Training Officers to build on the basic law enforcement skills imparted to them at the academy.

Clarksville Police have Seven Cadets take Oath of Office

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Tuesday, September 3rd, 2019, Clarksville Mayor Joe Pitts administered the oath of office to seven new Clarksville Police Department cadets at the City Council Chambers.

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) would like to congratulate Daniel Trimble and Austin Brown on their graduation from the Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy in Nashville, Tennessee.

The twelve week course prepares students to meet the standards for law enforcement officers established by the Tennessee Peace Officers Standards and Training Commission (POST).

The curriculum includes firearms training, defensive and tactical driving, physical defense tactics, understanding terrorism, law enforcement procedures, and introduction to the legal process.

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) would like to congratulate Lieutenant James McManama on his retirement from the Sheriff’s Office.

Lt. McManama began his career with Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office in 2000 as a Civil Process Deputy. He was promoted to Sergeant over Courts in 2010 and was promoted to Lieutenant over Courts and Civil Process in 2012.

Prior to working at the Sheriff’s Office he served in the United States Army from 1978-2000.
