Campbell CrossingFort Campbell, KY – On Saturday, September 27th, 2014, Campbell Crossing partnered with the Fort Campbell Fire Department to host a community movie night in support of Fire Prevention Week at The Commons at Werner Park.

The event brought together more than 125 Campbell Crossing residents for a special screening of The Lego Movie and an important lesson in fire safety and prevention.

Fort Campbell promotes National Fire Prevention Week

 

Fort Campbell KY - 101st Airborne DivisionFort Campbell, KY – The Fort Campbell Fire Department is teaming up with the Fort Campbell School System and Campbell Crossing to promote National Fire Prevention Week.

Firefighters will visit installation elementary schools to educate children on the importance of fire safety September 24th through October 1st. A static display featuring a fire truck with a crew member in full bunker gear will be on on-site at the schools to provide fire safety tips to students. Firefighters will also take children through the fire prevention smoke trailer. The trailer simulates a real fire by filling up with smoke and sounding a fire alarm.

Over than 350 Fort Campbell Soldiers and family members attend annual Earth Day event

 

Campbell CrossingFort Campbell, KY – Campbell Crossing’s 2014 Earth Day event was a huge success over the weekend. With more than 350 Fort Campbell Soldiers and family members in attendance, the afternoon was full of exciting games and activities including fun crafts, face painting, educational booths, food from Whitt’s BBQ and more.

The event kicked off with the traditional tree dedication, led by Garrison Commander Col. David L. “Buck” Dellinger.

More than 350 Soldiers and their families came out to enjoy fun attractions such as face painting, educational booths and presentations from the Nashville Zoo and the Channel 4 Weather team!

Campbell Crossing to host Earth Day event today

 

Campbell CrossingClarksville, Tn –Campbell Crossing, Lend Lease’s privatized military housing community located on Fort Campbell, will host its annual Earth Day event on Saturday, April 26th from 1:00pm-4:00pm. The theme of this year’s event is Upcycle and Recycle. The free resident event will provide families the opportunity to meet their neighbors and enjoy an afternoon of fun activities and presentations for the entire family.
