Clarksville TN – Clarksville High School alumni Bashaara Graves will be a freshman on the Tennessee Lady Vols basketball team this year, along with Northeast High School alum and Lady Vols senior Kamiko Williams.
Graves was featured in the latest practice report on the Lady Vols Basketball team on its web site at UT Sports.com.

For the past four years, Clarksville High Girls Basketbal”s only goal was to win the Class AAA State Basketball Championship and it was special dream for the Lady Wildcats’ five starters who are all moving on to play Division I basketball next year with Bashaara Graves going to Tennessee, Tiasha Gray to Austin Peay, Chandler Cooper to Florida, Tia Nicholson to Tennessee Tech and Jessy Ward to Mississippi State.

Murfreesboro, TN – All season long Clarksville High School Girls Basketball’s goal has been about surviving and advancing to the next game with the hopes it lead to a Class AAA State Championship.
But for the past two years that goal was dashed by the Lady Wildcats’ failure of getting past the first game of the State Tournament.
In 2010, Clarksville High fell to Memphis Central High School and then last year Science Hill did the deed.

Clarksville, TN – Dying and paying taxes are two inevitable things people to have to do in their lifetime.
The equivalent of that in girls high school basketball is playing against the Clarksville High School Lady Wildcats, who are inevitably going to take control of the game and wear their opponent down much like they did a 55-34 victory Saturday over Brentwood High School at their William Workman Gym.

Clarksville, TN – The ultimate mission for Clarksville High School Girls Basketball is still the same: Win the Class AAA State Championship.
But the Lady Wildcats had one more immediate goal they wanted to accomplish and thanks to their 63-46 victory over Mt. Juliet in the Region 5-AAA Championship Game Wednesday night they will be able to do it
That goal was to play one more game at home in the William Workman Gym and Clarksville High will do that Saturday at 7:00pm when they host Sectionals against Brentwood, the Region 6-AAA runner up.

Clarksville, TN – Really you could just pick a name out of a hat and that person could easily be the one that gets Clarksville High School going.
So Friday night, it was Tennessee signee Bashaara Graves who had the honors and scored 10 of the Lady Wildcats first 13 points in a game-opening 13-2 run and that was more than enough to propel Clarksville High to a 59-35 victory over Wilson Central in a Region 5-AAA Quarterfinal game at the William Workman Gym.

Clarksville High School Girls Basketball clinches fourth-straight District 10-AAA Tournament title, downs Rossview High School
Clarksville, TN – The four fingers the members of a smiling Clarksville High School Girls Basketball team were holding up after the 64-29 victory over Rossview High School in the District 10-AAA Tournament Championship Game at Northeast High School said it all and now they hope it’s the first step to winning a State Championship.
Clarksville, TN – Clarksville High had little trouble with Dickson County in its Girls District 10-AAA semifinal game Saturday night at Northeast High and easily cruised to a 76-28 victory.
The win puts the top-seed and state’s third-ranked team in the 10-AAA Championship game against Rossview at Northeast at 7:30pm Monday.
Rossview beat Kenwood 50-34 in their semifinal game. all four teams have advanced to next week’s Region 5-AAA Tournament.
