Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Street Department announced today that portions of U.S. Highway 41A, north of the Red River Bridge, are under construction in preparation for paving later this month.
Citizens are urged to use caution when traveling from the Red River Bridge to Hermitage Drive along New Providence Boulevard for the next several weeks.

Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Gas and Water Department has closed Robert Street to through traffic from Caldwell Lane to Ashland City Road/U.S. 41A Bypass for water service line repair.
Motorists will be redirected to Caldwell Lane during the work.
Clarksville TN – On May 18th, 2018 between the hours of 8:00pm and 4:00am, the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Kentucky State Police, Christian County Sheriff’s Department, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, Hopkinsville Police Department, Clarksville Police Department, and several other law enforcement agencies conducted a DUI Checkpoint/saturation patrol on US41-A near the Tennessee/Kentucky State line.
Lane configuration between Tenth Street and Pageant Lane won’t change
Clarksville, TN – The long-awaited Tennessee Department of Transportation project to repave a stretch of Madison Street/U.S. 41A in Clarksville is scheduled to begin August 1st, 2017 and be completed by October 31st, 2017, TDOT announced Wednesday.
The project will resurface 4.4 miles of the key Clarksville thoroughfare from Richview Road to University Avenue.

Austin McElwrath, 21 years old, from Bumpus Mills, was driving a 2005 Suzuki Forenza in the right south bound Fort Campbell Boulevard travel lane waiting on a red light. His vehicle was struck from behind by Tyler Pettie, 25 years old, from Fort Campbell, KY.
Hands Across the border Sobriety Roadside Safety Checkpoints and Saturation Patrols to be held May 20th and 21st
Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department, Tennessee Highway Patrol, Kentucky State Police, Christian County Sheriff’s Department, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department, Hopkinsville Police Department and Oak Grove Police Department will be conducting roadside safety checkpoints and saturation patrols on May 20th, 2016 and May 21st, 2016 in Montgomery County, Tennessee and Christian County, Kentucky.
The locations of the checkpoints will be on U.S. 41-A near the state line. Saturation Patrols will be on U.S. 41-A, Tennessee State Routes 374 & 236, Kentucky State Routes 400, 115 & 911.

Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Street Department will close Old Farmers Road on Tuesday, March 29th, 2016 beginning at 8:00am. Weather permitting, the road will be closed between Wilson Road and U.S. 41A South.
Traffic will be rerouted to Wilson Road.
Clarksville Gas and Water reports Madison Street/U.S. Highway 41-A South Scheduled Water Outage Expanded

Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Gas and Water scheduled water outage on Madison Street and U.S. Highway 41A South between McAdoo Creek Road and Highway 76 has been expanded from McAdoo Creek Road eastward to the Ivy Bend and Easthaven subdivisions on Ivy Bend Circle and Smith Lane.
The water outage and low water pressure will be the result of water main line installation work that will begin tonight at 11:00pm. The work will be ongoing for approximately fifteen nights beginning nightly at 11:00pm until 5:00am the following morning. «Read the rest of this article»
