17 Year Old Runaway Involved in a Robbery

On August 18th, 2010, around 6:05pm, a 47 year old man was in his driveway on Charlotte Drive, at the trunk of his vehicle, when he was approached by a male and female.  The male, later identified as Kenneth Franklyn Hubbard (DOB: 1/13/91, w/m, Given Address: 602 Elder Street), walked up to the victim and put a black handgun to his ribs and demanded money.  The victim took out his wallet and gave Hubbard the money. 

Hubbard then gave the money to the 17 year old female and they both fled the scene; the victim called 911 and then followed the two suspects in his vehicle.  Officers arrived and immediately took Hubbard in custody; the female ran into a wooded area before officers arrived.   Officers located and took the 17 year old female in custody, a short time later, at Hubbard’s residence on Elder Street;  the juvenile was reported as a runaway on August 14th, 2010.

Hubbard was booked into Montgomery County Jail and charged with Aggravated Robbery, Bond: $20,000.  The juvenile was also charged with Aggravated Robbery and transported to a juvenile holding facility.
