Clarksville Police Department’s Deputy Chief Frankie Gray Graduates from the FBI National Academy

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police Deputy Chief Frankie Gray graduated from the 248th Session of prestigious FBI National Academy on March 19th, 2012, after 10 weeks of intensive academic and physical training.

Only three percent of law enforcement, worldwide, is selected to attend the FBI National Academy.

The 248th Session of the National Academy consisted of men and women from law enforcement agencies from, 49 states, the District of Columbia, 20 International countries, four military organizations, and four federal civilian organizations.

Internationally known for its academic excellence, the National Academy Program, held at the FBI Academy, offered 10 weeks of advanced investigative, management, and fitness training for selected officers having proven records as professionals within their agencies. On average, these officers have 19 years of law enforcement experience and usually return to their agencies to serve in executive-level positions.

Training for the program was provided by FBI Academy instructional staff, Special Agents, and other staff members holding advanced degrees, many of whom are recognized internationally in their fields of expertise.

Deputy Chief Gray has been with the Clarksville Police Department for 28 years.  He graduated from the Northwestern University, School of Police Staff and Command, in 2004. He also has Bachelors Degree from Austin Peay State University with a Triple Major in Biology, Agriculture, and History as well as an Associate Degree from APSU in Criminal Justice.
