Fort Campbell’s 101st Combat Aviation Brigade prepares to Deploy to Afghanistan

Fort Campbell, KY – The 101st Combat Aviation Brigade, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) is scheduled to case the unit colors during a ceremony at the Passenger Processing Center here, Friday, August 10th at 1:00pm, preceding the brigade’s deployment in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

The 101st Combat Aviation Brigade, “Wings of Destiny,” will provide full-spectrum aviation support in Regional Command-East when the colors are uncased, assuming the mission in Afghanistan.
