Tennessee Department of Transportation Resurfacing Project for Montgomery County on I-24

Nashville, TN – Construction for milling and paving operations on I-24 in Montgomery County will began, Wednesday, May 22nd, 2013 with nightly lane closures from 8:00pm-6:00am (No work this Memorial Day Weekend for the holiday / work will resume on Tuesday evening, May 28th).

This work will effect both east and west bound lanes of I-24, mile marker 11.0  to 17.2 . The motoring public should be alert to changing roadway conditions and contractor personnel and equipment in, or near, the roadway.
In addition, motorists should expect some minor delays while traveling through this work zone.

This work will continue nightly, seven days a week, until all resurfacing work is completed sometime within the next 6 to 8 weeks.

This construction will be scheduled nightly weather permitting.”
