Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputy Chris Bedell apprehends Texas murder suspect Donald Brown

 

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOMontgomery County, TN – A Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputy last night apprehended a fugitive wanted in Texas on capitol murder charges.

Deputy Chris Bedell, assigned to the 19th Judicial District Drug Task Force, was conducting a routine stop when he encountered Donald Tremaine Brown, 34, who claimed to be homeless.

APSU Lady Govs Soccer tabbed to finish fifth in OVC preseason poll

Austin Peay State University Lady Govs - APSUBrentwood, TN – Austin Peay State University women’s soccer team has been tabbed to finish fifth in the Ohio Valley Conference for the upcoming 2014 season according to the preseason poll tabulated by conference coaches and sports information directors.

After reaching at least the OVC Championship semifinal stage for the third time in four years, the Lady Govs replace eight seniors who led the squad to a 48-27-5 composite four-year mark in their time on campus.

Dunbar Cave State Park - Clarksville TNClarksville, TNDunbar Cave State Natural Area has been a State Park since 1973. The cave and its surrounding 110 acres have considerable scenic, natural and historical significance. The entrance offered shelter to prehistoric Native Americans as far back as 10,000 years.

Dunbar Cave State Natural Area will present many nature programs this summer. There are programs for children and adults.
