Election 2014Dear Friends,

Recent election seasons have seen a rising number of candidates and their supporters, including me and mine, standing at the Montgomery County Veterans Plaza during early voting, waving signs at passers-by.

The new configuration of the parking lot however, makes this practice, in my opinion, a serious safety hazard and greatly slows entry to the Plaza for citizens arriving to vote, pay their taxes, renew their license tags, visit our wonderful library or other important reasons to visit the offices located there. «Read the rest of this article»

Austin Peay State University Governors - APSUBowling Green, KY – Despite cooler temperatures and sometimes rainy conditions, Austin Peay State University was able to forge its best round of the WKU Kenny Perry Invitational, Tuesday. Unfortunately for the Governors, it only allowed them to move up to sixth in the final standings.

TBI indicts John Dylan Adams for Rape in Holly Bobo murder case

Tennessee Bureau of InvestigationJohn Dylan AdamsJackson, TN – Special Agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation have obtained an indictment in the ongoing investigation of the murder of Holly Bobo, charging a Decatur County man with Rape.

Clarksville Police apprehend suspects in Northridge Drive Shooting

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Monday, October 13th, 2014 at 4:32pm, the Clarksville Police Department responded to a Aggravated Assault at the 200 block of Northridge Drive.

The victim stated that he was standing outside by the garage when individuals he knew as “TJ” and a juvenile (first & last name of juvenile was given) drove by and shot him. The victim did not provide any more details.

The victim was transported by EMS to Gateway Medical Center. He does not appear to have life threatening injuries from being shot.
