Red River at Port Royal under Flood Advisory

Nashville, TN – The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Flood Advisory for the Red River at Port Royal in Adams Tennessee.

At 6:00am Sunday, February 22nd, the Red River stage was 25.0 feet. Flood stage is 30.0 feet.

The river will continue to rise to near 26.6 feet by this evening.

At 11.0 feet, water begins to inundate the public access parking lot and picnic area at Port Royal State Park.

At 17.0 feet, the public access parking lot at Port Royal State Park is completely inundated.

Montgomery County and Robertson County.
