APSU Governors Football signs West Creek High School standout receiver Zeandre Floyd

Clarksville, TN – A talent-rich wide receiver corp just got deeper as Austin Peay State University football team announced the signing of Clarksville native Zeandre Floyd to a National Letter of Intent.

Floyd is a two-time All-District and All-Area wide receiver for Jon Offutt and West Creek High School, where he led the Wildcats with 19 total touchdowns over the course of the past two seasons. His 2014 performance netted him District 10-AAA Receiver of the Year honors.

Not only that, the 5-9, 159-pounder is a standout on the track, recently hitting 10.5 seconds in the 100m dash. With a 3.85 grade-point average, Floyd is a strong student who received an award for Academic Excellence from the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System.

Floyd will join a young but talented squad of wide receivers that returns Malik Boynton, Jared Beard and Wesley Thomas, among others. ­
