Nashville Sounds Game against Albuquerque Isotopes Postponed due to Rain

Doubleheader To Take Place Thursday Starting At 6:05pm

Nashville SoundsNashville, TN – Wednesday night’s game between the Nashville Sounds and Albuquerque Isotopes at First Tennessee Park has been postponed due to rain. The game will be made up on Thursday (August 20) as part of a doubleheader that will begin at 6:05pm.

Gates will open at 5:05pm for the doubleheader, and the first 7,000 fans to the game will receive a Sounds t-shirt celebrating the inaugural season at First Tennessee Park, presented by the park’s Founding and Platinum sponsors. Game two will commence approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first game.

Sounds right-hander Cody Martin (2-3, 5.14) is scheduled to pitch against John Lannan (6-7, 5.50) in the first game, while Nashville will feature Brad Mills (4-11, 4.45) in the nightcap and Albuquerque will name a starter later.

Fans may exchange their tickets for Wednesday’s game (August 19th) at the Sounds’ box office for a ticket of equal or lesser value, pending availability, to any remaining 2015 home game. Fans that possess tickets for Thursday’s originally scheduled game can now enjoy both games of the doubleheader with their current tickets.
