“Fourth grade students are the adults of the future,” said Tina Tilley, Area Supervisor at Land Between The Lakes. “We want them to grow up exploring National Parks, Forests, Seashores, and Recreation Areas and fall in love with public lands! We hope children understand that these public lands belong to them, and encourage them to come out to play, learn, and explore.”

Every Kid in a Park is part of a national initiative designed to encourage individual 4th graders, 4th grade homeschoolers, 4th grade classes, and their families to visit America’s public lands and waters to discover what they have to offer.
