Clarksville, TN – The Roxy Regional Theatre, long regarded as one of the cornerstones of Historic Downtown Clarksville, is celebrating 34 years of live entertainment with an unforgettable evening of fabulous food, fine art and award-winning musical theatre.
On Saturday, September 24th, GALA 34 will officially kick off the Roxy Regional Theatre’s 2016-2017 season of professional live theatre on the corner of Franklin and First.The theatre’s annual fundraiser will begin at 6:00pm with Frozen Pink Lemon8 cocktails, compliments of MB Roland Distillery, paired with tomato fritters and summer skewers of watermelon, honeydew and cantaloupe with mozzarella in balsamic reduction.
Bidding will be open in a silent auction featuring diverse and original works by area artists and specialty gift baskets.
At 6:30pm patrons will dine al fresco on petite filet with parmesan-peppercorn roasted marbled potatoes, grilled asparagus, Boursin crumble and demi-glace; wedge salad with blue cheese crumbles, praline bacon, roasted tomatoes, scallions, parmesan croutons and blue cheese vinaigrette; and, for dessert, peanut butter mousse with bananas brulee, chocolate curls and molasses candied bacon. Dinner will be complemented with Beachaven wines.
Guests will move inside the Roxy Regional Theatre at 7:30pm for a live auction of original artwork, followed by selections from “Million Dollar Quartet”, the red-hot rock ‘n’ roll musical inspired by Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins.
Tickets to GALA 34 are $125.00 (Standard Level) and $200 (Premier Level). Standard Level tables, seating ten, are available for $1,250. Premier Level tickets feature additional perks including an original Hatch Show Print created specially for the Roxy and premier dinner seating, as available. Premier Level tables (seating ten) are $1,750, including a complimentary bottle of champagne for each table.
