Statesboro, GA – Austin Peay State University’s softball team will have to wait another day to open its 2018 season, with an all-day rain event in southeast Georgia forced the cancellation of its scheduled games versus Radford and Georgia Southern to open the Eagle Round Robin Tournament.
The rain has also forced a change in Saturday’s schedule for the Round Robin, with the Governors now slated to open the season, 8:00am (CT), Saturday, February 10th versus host Georgia Southern, followed by a 2:00pm (CT) contest versus Radford.
Austin Peay’s Sunday’s game versus Radford is currently as scheduled.
