Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University (APSU)’s baseball team has announced its fall baseball schedule, which will begin Monday, September 17th, 2018 with the first full team practice.

New this season, Austin Peay will host two exhibition contests during the fall after a change to NCAA rules during the summer. The Governors will host Columbia State Community College in a Saturday, October 6th contest at Raymond C. Hand Park.
Two weeks later Austin Peay will host Wabash Community College in a Tuesday, October 23rd extended exhibition contest.
The Governors October 6th exhibition will be part of a much anticipated fall baseball reunion event planned by Austin Peay’s Office of Alumni Relations. The reunion events start Friday night at the Riverview Inn in Clarksville before a full day of events Saturday, including the exhibition contest and the Governors football contest against Tennessee State. Alumni wishing to attend are encouraged to RSVP online.
In addition, Austin Peay will hold intersquad scrimmages throughout the fall slate with a weekly schedule available at LetsGoPeay.com, Austin Peay’s official athletics website.
Austin Peay also will hold its annual scout day, Wednesday, October 3rd, 2018 at Raymond C. Hand Park. The fall practice schedule will conclude November 1st with the annual Red-Black World Series taking place in the week leading up to the conclusion of the schedule.
