This is the perfect opportunity to sit back and listen to what makes great plays work: the words!
Kicking off the series is William Shakespeare’s “Much Ado About Nothing” this Wednesday, October 24th, 2018 at 7:00pm.
Boasting one of the Bard’s most delightful heroines, this imaginative, exuberant comedy contrasts two pairs of lovers in a witty and suspenseful battle of the sexes. A masquerade ball provides the setting for a case of mistaken identity, reminding us all of the failings and triumphs of the human condition in our never-ending search for perfect love.
Stick around after the reading for a talkback with our company of actors, when we will discuss your thoughts, impressions and analyses of the work, and our professional company will weigh in with their opinions.
“Much Ado About Nothing” is presented in theotherspace, our 50-seat black box theatre located upstairs. Seating is general admission. Tickets are $15.00 and may be reserved online via the below button, by phone at 931.645.7699, or at the theatre during regular box office hours (9:00am to 2:00pm, Monday through Friday, and one hour prior to curtain).
