Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office arrests Eric Tyreese Davis Jr. for Multiple Warrants

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – On Tuesday, October 29th, 2019, the the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office took into custody attempted murder suspect, Eric Tyreese Davis, Jr, age 22.

Deputies in the Warrant’s Division spotted Davis on Arthur’s Court and attempted to initiate a traffic stop. Davis refused to stop and fled at a high rate of speed.

He stopped his vehicle at the intersection of Needmore Road and Bell Road and fled on foot. After a short foot pursuit, deputies apprehended him.

Cocaine, crack cocaine, heroin, marijuana, scales, wrapping paper, and several unknown powder and rock substances were found at the scene.

Davis has been arrested multiple times since January 2016. Earlier this year he was charged with attempted murder. He bonded out and was arrested earlier this month for reckless endangerment.

He bonded out again and failed to make a court appearance. At which time, his bonds were revoked and a bench warrant was issued for his arrest.

Davis is currently awaiting trial or disposition on the following 26 charges:

  • First Degree Murder – Attempted
  • Aggravated Assault – Use or Display of Deadly Weapon
  • Aggravated Assault – On an Officer
  • Assault – Bodily Injury x 2
  • Reckless Endangerment x 3
  • Theft of Property
  • Felony Evading Arrest
  • Evading Arrest x 2
  • Possession for Resale Schedule II x 3
  • Possession for Resale Schedule I
  • Simple Possession/Casual Exchange x 3
