Clarksville, TN – James Henry Coakley, Jr., age 83 of Erin, TN passed away February 10th, 2026 at his residence surrounded by his family.
James entered this life on June 28, 1942 in Houston County, TN, son to the late James H. Coakley, Sr. and Mildred Clark Coakley.
James leaves behind his wife of 61 years, Sue Dortch Coakley; children, Beverly (Danny) Hardin, Dawn (Robbie) McDowell; grandchildren, Meagan (Ashlee) Dobbins, Will (Gracie) McDowell, Jill McDowell, Kristy Hardin, Heath (Caitlin) Hardin; great-grandchildren, Audrey Matlock, Arie Mae Matlock, Sloane Dobbins, Isla Dobbins, Harper Hardin, and Camryn Hardin.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 1:00pm Friday, February 13th, 2026 at the Chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Bro. Ray Bradley officiating.
The Coakley family will receive friends from 10:00am until the hour of service Friday afternoon.
