Nashville, TN – State Representative Ronnie Glynn (D-Clarksville) welcomed children of military service members to the State Capitol on Monday, March 30th, 2026, for the fourth annual Military Kids Day on the Hill.
Representative Glynn is a retired Army Master Sergeant and represents House District 67, which includes Fort Campbell. This year ROTC students from Clarksville’s Rossview High School met with Glynn and other lawmakers, along with a representative from the Department of Veterans Services.

Representative. Glynn said that this year, while the students learned a lot, this year’s gathering severed a dual purpose: “We had a great turnout of military kids that really wanted to learn about government. At a time when Fort Campbell service members are deploying into combat, giving them an opportunity to take their minds off the stress of deployment for a little while, is an honor. Students learned about people who make up TN history, historical parks, and the history of the Capitol.”
