Fort Campbell, KY – As the unit responsible for sustaining the Army’s only air assault division, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) Sustainment Brigade, 101st Airborne Division is constantly running support missions all over the world.

To make sure they are capable of meeting mission essential tasks no matter what the environment, Soldiers of the brigade headquarters and 101st Special Troops Battalion participated in a field training exercise March 28th-April 3rd, on training areas here.

101st Sustainment Brigade Soldiers train at Fort Campbell to prevent abuse

Fort Campbell, KY – Soldiers from the 101st Special Troops Battalion, 101st Sustainment Brigade, 101st Airborne Division, participated in Family Advocacy Program training March 10th-11th, 2014, at Fort Campbell, KY. The mandatory training helps soldiers identify indicators of domestic abuse and provides resources to help soldiers prevent abuse.

PJ Rawlins, a Family Advocacy Program specialist who has worked with the brigade since 2008, gave the training. She encouraged discussion throughout the training and some of the training topics elicited strong opinions and a vibrant dialogue between soldiers.

Fort Campbell’s 101st Human Resources Company to return Home

 

Fort Campbell KY, 101st Airborne DivisionFort Campbell, KY – Soldiers from the 101st Human Resources Company, 101st Special Troops Battalion, 101st Sustainment Brigade are returning home from their year-long deployment to Kuwait in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

A welcome home ceremony for the 101st HR Company is scheduled for Tuesday, May 8th, at the brigade headquarters.  The scheduled ceremony time is 2:30am.

Fort Campbell’s 101st Sustainment Brigade units return home for Easter

Fort Campbell, KY – It was a special Easter weekend for the families of the 101st Human Resources Company and 101st Financial Management Company, Special Troops Battalion, 101st Sustainment Brigade, when their soldiers returned home from deployments this past weekend.

The 101st HR Company was deployed to Kuwait for nine months, and the 101st FM Company deployed to Afghanistan for 12 months. They returned back to Fort Campbell on Easter and Good Friday, respectively.
