Adam Moore led the charge with a two-run triple in the third inning and a bases-clearing double in the seventh. The Sounds’ catcher had 5 RBI in the game – the most by a Sounds player in a single game in 2019. Wes Benjamin got the ball for Nashville and cruised through a 1-2-3 first inning but trouble hit in the second. The Redbirds scored in the top of the first when Drew Robinson hit a double and scored on a single by Andrew Knizner to put Memphis up 1-0. Nashville Sounds fall at home to Memphis Redbirds, 4-2
Nashville’s offense was red hot on the road only to come up short at home with four hits in the homestand opener against the Redbirds. Hunter Cole had two of the hits and Zack Granite and Adam Moore each had one.
