Tennessee Volunteers - UT VolsColumbia, MO – The Tennessee men’s basketball team will look to bounce back from its loss against LSU in its SEC opener when it takes on Missouri on Tuesday night inside Mizzou Arena. Tipoff is slated for 6:00pm CT on SEC Network.

Tuesday’s game is available on SEC Network, online on WatchESPN at espn.com/watch and on any mobile device through the ESPN App. Tom Hart and Andy Kennedy will have the call.

Fans can also listen in on their local Vol Network affiliate to hear Bob Kesling and Bill Justus describing the action.

#1 Tennessee Vols Basketball wins overtime thriller at Vanderbilt, 88-83

Tennessee Volunteers - UT VolsNashville, TN – Player of the Year candidate Grant Williams posted one of the dominant performances in program history to lift No. 1 Tennessee Vols to a 88-83 victory in overtime against Vanderbilt in Memorial Gym on Wednesday night.
 
Williams finished with a career-high 43 points, eight rebounds, four blocks, two assists and a key steal to carry the Vols (17-1, 6-0 SEC) to their 13th-consecutive win. It was the most points scored in a game by a Vol since Allan Houston also dropped 43 against LSU on February 10th, 1990. It was tied for the fifth-most points in a single game in school history.

Tennessee Vols Basketball on the road Saturday to take on Mississippi State Bulldogs

Tennessee Volunteers - UT VolsKnoxville, TN – Tennessee begins the back half of SEC play on Saturday when it travels to Starkville for a rematch with Mississippi State. Tipoff is set for 2:30pm CT on SEC Network.

The Vols (13-9, 5-4 SEC), winners of four straight games, are playing their second straight road contest after picking up an 87-77 win at Auburn on Tuesday night. It was UT’s fourth true road win of the season after having just achieved one such victory during the entire 2015-16 season.

That lone triumph away from home a year ago came at Humphrey Coliseum when Tennessee earned an 80-75 win over Mississippi State (13-8, 4-5 SEC).

UT Vols hit the road to take on #14 Kentucky Wildcats, Thursday

Tennessee Volunteers - UT VolsKnoxville, TN – Tennessee is headed to Lexington for the second edition of this year’s border battle with Kentucky. The Vols meet the 14th-ranked Wildcats on Thursday with tipoff from Rupp Arena set for 7:00pm ET/6:00pm CT on ESPN.

Tennessee (12-13, 5-7 SEC) picked up a memorable victory in this season’s first meeting between the two programs, rallying from a 21-point first half deficit to claim an 84-77 win at Thompson-Boling Arena. That victory snapped a two-game losing streak to Kentucky (19-6, 9-3 SEC) and marked one of the largest comeback victories in program history.

Tennessee Volunteers - UT VolsKnoxville, TN – Tennessee’s mid-January SEC road swing comes to a close on Saturday when the Vols visit Mississippi State for a 3:30pm ET/2:30pm CT tip on the SEC Network.

Saturday’s contest marks the only regular season meeting between UT and MSU this season after having played a home-and-home a year ago. Tennessee leads the all-time series with the Bulldogs, 79-42 — including a 28-27 mark in games played in Starkville.

Both Tennessee (8-8, 1-3 SEC) and Mississippi State (7-8, 0-3 SEC) head into Saturday hungry for a win.
