Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency - TWRANashville, TN – The March 19th deadline is nearing for the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency’s 2018-19 photo contest. All interested photographers are invited to submit up to 10 of their best photos on fishing, hunting, boating, and wildlife species native to Tennessee.

The photos will be reviewed for publication in the annual calendar edition of Tennessee Wildlife, which is the summer issue.

TWRA announces 2017-18 Tennessee Wildlife Calendar Photo Contest Underway

 

Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency - TWRANashville, TN – The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency is now accepting entries for its 2017-18 photo contest for publication in the Tennessee Wildlife’s annual calendar issue. All interested photographers are invited to submit up to 10 of their best photos on fishing, hunting, boating, and wildlife species native to Tennessee.

The photos will be reviewed for publication in the annual calendar edition of Tennessee Wildlife, which is the summer issue. If a photo is selected for the calendar edition, the photographer will receive a cash stipend of $60.00.

Winning Photos for Tennessee Wildlife’s 2015-2016 Calendar Contest Announced

Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency - TWRANashville, TN – The winning entries for the 2015-16 Tennessee Wildlife magazine photo contest have been selected by staff members of the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency. The selections will be unveiled in the annual calendar issue of the magazine which will be available in early July.

The staff selected the winning photographs from hundreds of submissions and had the challenge to narrow the entries to 13 photos that will appear in the calendar issue. The 2015-16 calendar issue will begin with the month of August. Other entries will be kept on file and could have the opportunity to appear in future agency publications.

Clarksville-Montgomery County Arts and Heritage Development Council 2014 Cultural Calendars Now Available

 

Clarksville Arts and Heritage Development CouncilClarksville, TN – The 2014 Cultural Calendar, produced by the Clarksville-Montgomery County Arts and Heritage Development Council, is now available online and at several local shops.

Each month of the calendar features an original work by a local artist, depicting a scene in Montgomery County, along with highlights of arts and heritage activities planned by community organizations for that month.

It is just $5.00 per entry. The top 10 photos will be featured in the 2013 Humane Society of Clarksville Montgomery County calendar.

Humane Society of Clarksville-Montgomery County’s Valentine Project for Chained Dogs

 

Humane Society of Clarksville – Montgomery County (HSCMC)Clarksville, TN – The Humane Society of Clarksville-Montgomery County is very proud to be partnering with the wonderful students and teachers of Rossview Elementary School who will be making Valentines cards for chained dogs in our community.

Our goal is to mail 200 cards. This campaign is modeled after the Dogs Deserve Better initiative, which has been successful nationwide in reaching out to families of chained dogs and making a difference in the lives of so many of those animals.
