Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University track and field returns to a familiar haunt this weekend when the Govs make what’s become an annual trek to Bowling Green, Kentucky for the Hilltopper Relays, hosted by Western Kentucky, at Charles M. Reuter Track and Field Complex.
For a fifth straight season, the Govs will visit their neighbors to the northeast.

Bowling Green, KY – Austin Peay State University track and field team enjoyed a solid second day at the 2016 Hilltopper Relays, hosted by Western Kentucky at Charles M. Reuter Track and Field Complex.
Although there was nothing likely to top Savannah Amato‘s Friday night pole vault performance, the Governors nonetheless posted good marks after the short trek north.

Bowling Green, KY – Savannah Amato entered some rarefied air in Friday afternoon’s pole vault at the Hilltopper Relays.
The freshman from Delaware, Ohio became just the third athlete in Austin Peay history to break the 13-foot barrier in the pole vault, taking her place alongside APSU legends Carrie Burggraf and Molly Bartkiewicz with a 4.01m (13′ 1.75″) mark to place fourth in the event at the Charles M. Reuter Track and Field Complex.
