Davidson’s solo blast came in the second inning and was his fifth of the season. Calhoun’s was a three-run shot in the top of the ninth to make it interesting. It was Calhoun’s fourth long ball of the season with Nashville. Iowa got on the board right way against Nashville starter Phillips Valdez.
