Clarksville, TN – After his 98-yard kickoff return for a touchdown to open the second half on the road at No. 16 Eastern Illinois Saturday, the Ohio Valley Conference honored Kyran Moore with OVC Specialist of the Week.
Moore, a junior from Bessemer, AL, knotted the game at 21 when he took the opening kickoff in the second half 98 yards to the house for the score.

APSU President Tim Hall and athletics director spoke to a large gathering outside Gate 1 about the memories created in Governors Stadium and the new ones to be made in the upcoming years when the new Governors Stadium opens in 2014.
Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University’s bid for its first 2013 football victory came up short, Saturday afternoon, as Southeast Missouri State University held on for a 36-34 decision in Ohio Valley Conference football action at Governors Stadium.
This was the last football game played in Governors Stadium as it is currently configured.

Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University Governors Football is still seeking its first 2013 victory as they travel to Murray State to take on the Racers Saturday, October 19th.
The Governors enter the contest with 21 straight road losses. Their last road victory came against Tennessee State, a 26-23 verdict, September 18th, 2010.

Clarksville, TN – After a week off, the Austin Peay State University Governors Football team will open Ohio Valley Conference play at the Eastern Kentucky Colonels Saturday, October 5th at 5:00pm CT.
This is the second straight season the Govs have played in Richmond, KY. This will be the 46th meeting, with the Governors trailing the series 5-40. APSU lost to Eastern Kentucky, 45-14, October 13th, 2012, in Richmond.
Athens, OH – Senior Tyler Tettleton threw for three first-half scores to lead Ohio to a 35-0 victory against Austin Peay State University, Saturday afternoon, at Peden Stadium in nonconference football action.
It was Ohio’s third straight victory after a pummeling by Louisville in the opener. Austin Peay will take a 0-4 record into its bye week.
Chattanooga, TN – The return to FCS competition was a rough one for Austin Peay State University’s football team, which allowed Chattanooga to gain 270 yards on the ground on the way to a 42-10 loss to the Mocs at Finley Stadium, Saturday.
