Nashville, TN – Matt Olson’s walk-off three-run homer gave the Nashville Sounds a 6-3 win in game two of Tuesday’s doubleheader at First Tennessee Park. The dramatic homer completed a furious comeback and helped the Sounds earn a doubleheader split in front of 7,734 fans.
The Sounds’ offense was in a major funk and trailing 3-0 in the bottom of the sixth inning when Joey Wendle cracked a three-run blast off Baby Cakes reliever Javy Guerra to even the game at 3-3. It snapped a 19-inning stretch in which the Sounds failed to score a run.

Nashville Sounds lose Saturday night 12-7 to Albuquerque Isotopes

Albuquerque, NM – The Nashville Sounds suffered their seventh consecutive loss on Saturday evening, falling 12-7 against Albuquerque at Isotopes Park.
Every starting Sounds position player recorded a hit during the club’s 13-hit effort, paced by a 2-for-5 Eugenio Velez effort that included a homer and extended the infielder’s on-base streak to 27 consecutive games.

Nashville Sounds lose to Albuquerque Isotopes 5-3

Albuquerque, NM – The Nashville Sounds began their final road trip of the year on a down note, falling 5-3 to Albuquerque on Wednesday evening at Isotopes Park in the opener of a five-game series.
The defeat was the fifth in the past six games for Nashville (50-82).
The Sounds got off to a quick start, plating a run in the top of the first inning against Matt Magill. Kentrail Davis (3-for-4) led off with a triple to center that snapped an 18 at-bat hitless stretch for the outfielder and scored when Eugenio Velez followed with a sacrifice fly.

Nashville’s Josh Prince Hits Ninth Home Run In Losing Effort
Nashville, TN – The Nashville Sounds were edged 4-2 by the Albuquerque Isotopes, who plated three late runs in Tuesday night’s game at Greer Stadium.
Tied 2-2 in the seventh, Albuquerque’s Dee Gordon knocked an RBI single into left field to give the ‘Topes a one-run advantage. The run came against Sounds reliever Zack Kroenke (4-13), who took the loss after 1 1/3 innings pitched.
