Clarksville Police report Skeletal Remains discovered near Fort Campbell Boulevard, Jack Miller Boulevard

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police report that on Wednesday, March 4th, 2020, skeletal remains were discovered at 3:36pmin the area of Fort Campbell Boulevard and Jack Miller Boulevard.

Officers with the Clarksville Police Department received a call in reference to possible human skeletal remains in the area of Fort Campbell Boulevard and Jack Miller Boulevard. Detectives responded to the scene to investigate and discovered that the remains were in fact human.

Pre-trial hearing for Two Fort Campbell Soldiers concludes

 

Fort Campbell KY - 101st Airborne DivisionFort Campbell, KY – The pre-trial hearing in the cases of two 101st Airborne Division Soldiers who have been charged in the disappearance and death of Pfc. Shadow McClaine concluded April 11th on Fort Campbell after two days of proceedings.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office finds Body off Ross Lane

 

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOMontgomery County, TN – On the morning of Wednesday, December 21st, 2016, while conducting a missing person’s investigation, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office discovered the body a deceased male.

Billy Pace Jr, 23, was found in a wooded area near the 1000 block of Ross Lane.

An autopsy will be conducted by the medical examiner.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office identifies Body found on Tarcus Road

 

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – Investigators with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office have identified the human remains found in Palmyra Thursday morning as Melissa Sue Napier (Woodruff), 30, of Clarksville Tennessee.

Napier, originally from New York, is an Army veteran. She served in the military for 4 1/2 years and rose to the rank of an E-5 Sergeant.  She completed 2 tours in Iraq working as a Chemical Operations Specialist.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office releases name of Body Found in Cumberland River

 

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Investigators have identified the man found in the Cumberland River early Monday morning as Jesse Lee Myer, 31, of Clarksville.

Investigators do not suspect foul play. Cause of death will be determined by the Medical Examiner in Nashville, TN. Official autopsy results will take 6-8 weeks.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Investigators asks anyone that has contact with Myer in the last seven days is asked to contact Investigator Sergeant Mark Wojnarek at 931.648.0611 ext 13406.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office reports Parents charged with Felony Murder for death of their 4 year old Daughter

 

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOMontgomery County, TN – Arianna Taylor, age 4, was found dead in her home at 1460 Dotsonville Road, lot 8, on July 12th, 2013.

An autopsy was performed by the State of Tennessee Medical Examiner’s Office.  The Medical Examiner determined that Arianna died as a result of multiple blunt force traumas, and ruled her death a homicide. «Read the rest of this article»

Clarksville Police conduct Death Investigation at 949 Silty Drive

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department is conducting a Death Investigation at 949 Silty Drive. The Department is treating it like all unattended deaths and processed it like any death scene.

At this time it appears to be natural causes, but the Department will wait for confirmation from Medical Examiner.

Humphreys County Woman Indicted for Criminally Negligent Homicide for Brother’s Death

 

Tennessee Bureau of InvestigationNashville, TN – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation arrested a Humphreys County, Tennessee woman for criminally negligent homicide after she was indicted by the Humphreys County Grand Jury for her role in her brother’s death last year.

Sarah Redmond, 29, of 201 Cyclone Lane, Waverly, TN was arrested yesterday in McEwen, TN and booked into the Humphreys County Jail on $2,500 bond. The District Attorney General requested TBI to investigate the death of 40-year-old Herbert Carl Redmond when he died on October 18th, 2011.

Clarksville Police have Three Men in Custody and have charged them in Conjunction with the Death of Brandon Davone Rushing

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department has been investigating the disappearance of Brandon Davone Rushing since he was reported missing on January 24th, 2012. At the time he was reported missing, he was last known to be driving a 2006 Chevy Suburban.

On February 15th, Detective Tim Finley uncovered that an individual known as “Blue”, later identified as Verchaunt Joshua Williams, shot and killed Brandon Rushing in a Clarksville apartment on January 23rd.
