Month of the Military Family Appreciation Fun Day at Fort Campbell’s Family Resource Center

 

Fort Campbell's Morale, Welfare and Recreation - MWRFort Campbell, KY – Bring the entire Family out for this Month of the Military Family event at the Family Resource Center on November 23rd.

The Fort Campbell Federal Credit Union Military Family Appreciation Fun Day will begin at 10:00am and last until 2:00pm.

There will be stations for carnival games including Tic-Tac-Toe, Basketball Throw, Ring Toss, Corn Hole, Balloon Darts, a Duck Pond and a Fishing Pond, as well as craft stations, a balloon artist, goody bags, and a free Family portrait. «Read the rest of this article»

Fort Campbell Spooktacular Fest

 

Fort Campbell's Morale, Welfare and Recreation - MWRFort Campbell, KY – Join Family and MWR for a Spooktacular time on Saturday, October 5th from 6:00pm to 9:00pm at the Town Center Park located in the Exchange parking lot.

There will be a costume show for the entire Family, makeup demonstrations, Halloween safety tips, Halloween themed crafts, face painting, creative ideas for costumes and decorations, candy, and music.

It’s a Laughing Matter

 

Morale, Welfare and RecreationFort Campbell, KY – Army Entertainment presents the LOL Comedy Tour hosted by Cerrome Russell from BET, headlining Danny Cho and featuring sketch comedy act “A Pair of Nuts”.

If you’re ready for a laughing treat come out to Cole Park Commons on October 15th at 7:00pm. Admission is free.

MWR Presents the 2011 Soldier Show at Wilson Theater

 

Morale, Welfare and RecreationFort Campbell, KY – The 2011 U.S. Army Soldier Show will be coming to Fort Campbell’s Wilson Theater on October 28th and 29th.  Show times are Friday, October 28th at 2:00pm and 7:30pm, and Saturday, October 29th at 2:00pm.

The 2011 U.S. Army Soldier Show is a high-energy 90-minute live musical production that showcases the talents of active duty Soldiers who were selected by audition from throughout the Army.  The theme for this year’s show, “Carnival – A Traveling Thank You”, draws its inspiration and song selections from many areas of the world. «Read the rest of this article»

Oktoberfest and Family Event at Cole Park Commons

 

Morale, Welfare and RecreationFort Campbell, KY – Oktoberfest is a two-week festival held each year in Munich, Germany and has been held annually since 1810. It’s the world’s largest fair with more than 6 million people attending and has inspired hundreds of large and small Oktoberfest celebrations throughout the country.

USO and MWR Present Gary Sinise and the Lieutenant Dan Band

 

Morale, Welfare and RecreationFort Campbell, KY – Get ready for a rockin’ good time on August 27th as the USO and MWR present Gary Sinise and the Lieutenant Dan Band in concert. Inspired by his role in the 1994 film Forrest Gump, Sinise has partnered with the USO to travel all over the world to perform free concerts for Service Members and their Families.

The Lieutenant Dan Band covers music from well-known artists including Bruce Springsteen, Linkin Park, Aretha Franklin and Jimi Hendrix. Providing a diverse selection of music, The Lieutenant Dan Band is sure to be a crowd pleaser offering something for everyone. The concert will be held at the Division Parade Field beginning at 7:00pm.

USAA and MWR Celebrate Red, White, and Blue Goes Green Earth Day and Month of the Military Child Family Event

 

Morale, Welfare and RecreationFort Campbell, KY – What is Red, White, and Blue but goes green? Come out to the USAA and MWR Family Event on April 30th and find out. There will be all kinds of Family fun as MWR partners with Department of Public Works (DPW) Environmental Division to kick off the first outdoor Family Event of the year at Destiny Parks and Pavilions from 12:00pm to 4:00pm.

The event is free and open to all who wish to come out and have a wonderful afternoon filled with inflatables, face painting (for children only), balloon twisting, demonstrations from Estep Wellness Center Belly Dancing and Zumba, performances from the 101st Rendezvous Groove Band, visit from Smokey the Bear, and much more. «Read the rest of this article»
