Washington, D.C. – U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) reports that Apple is recalling three-prong AC wall plug adapters included in the Apple World Travel Adapter Kit sold before February 2015.
The kits contain three-prong and two-prong AC wall plug adapters that fit different electrical outlets worldwide. The recalled adapters were made for use primarily in the United Kingdom, Singapore, and Hong Kong and were also sold with Mac computers and iOS devices.

Washington, D.C. – The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) reports that this recall involves the DeWALT DWD110 and DWD112 3/8-inch variable speed reversing drills. The drills are yellow with black accents and have a power cable connected at one end. Only drills with date codes 2017-37-FY through 2018-22-FY are affected.
If the drill is marked with an “X” after the date code it has already been inspected and is not affected. The model number is located on a label on the right side of the drill. The date code is etched into the body of the drill below the label. Consumers whose drill does not have a date code, or who cannot locate the date code should contact the company.
Washington, D.C. – U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) reports that Walmart is recalling Ozark Trail Camp Axes because the axe head can detach from the handle, posing an injury hazard.
This recall involves Ozark Trail camp axes. The steel shaft tubular axes measure about 14 inches long from handle to axe head, and weigh about 1.25 lbs. The axes have a black, non-slip rubber grip and claw feature. “Ozark Trail” and model number 60111140 are printed on the product packaging.

Washington, D.C. – The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) reports that Mazda North America Operations (Mazda) is recalling certain 2003-2008 Mazda6, 2006-2007 Mazdaspeed6 and 2004 MPV vehicles nationwide.
Mazda is also recalling 2005-2006 MPV vehicles in Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Delaware, the District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia, Puerto Rico, American Samoa, Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands (Saipan), and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) reports that Ravin Crossbows is recalling arrow nocks because if the nock is not fully engaged with the bowstring the crossbow can fail to discharge poising an injury hazard.
This recall involves all white plastic molded clip-on nocks used in arrows for Ravin brand crossbows. The white arrow nocks were sold separately in a package of 12 and as original equipment with Ravin crossbows and Ravin arrows. The white nocks measure about 0.9 inches long.
Washington, D.C. – General Motors has notified the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) that it is recalling vehicles because a defective ignition switch can affect the safe operation of airbag systems.
If the key is not in the run position, the air bags may not deploy if the vehicle is involved in a crash, increasing the risk of injury.
Washington, D.C. – National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reports that the Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling all 2015-2017 Transit vehicles except 156″ and 178″ wheelbase Chassis Cab and Cut-Away bodies.
In the affected vehicles, the flexible coupling connecting the transmission to the driveshaft may prematurely fail.
Design Solutions International with Home Depot Recalls Light Fixtures Due to Laceration and Burn Hazards
Washington, D.C. – The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission reports that Design Solutions International with Home Depot recalls Home Decorators Collection 3-Light and 4-Light Comotti Vanity Fixtures. The light fixture styles have 3 or 4 chrome-colored glass shades with clear acrylic ball strands that surround a halogen light. The wall plate is made of reflective stainless steel.
The light shades can detach and fall, posing laceration and burn hazards.
Hyundai recalls over 400,000 Santa Fe and Santa Fe Sport vehicles because Secondary Hood Latch may Bind and not Latch
Washington, D.C. – The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reports Hyundai Motor America (Hyundai) is recalling certain 2013-2017 Santa Fe and Santa Fe Sport vehicles. In the affected vehicles, the secondary hood latch actuating cable may corrode and bind, causing the secondary hood latch to remain in the unlatched position when the hood is closed.
If the hood is not securely closed or the primary latch is inadvertently released and the secondary latch is not engaged, the hood could unexpectedly open while driving, increasing the risk of a vehicle crash.
